Dr. Steve Gupta, Chairman, The Gupta Group, Reetu Gupta, COO Gupta Group and Eastons Group of Hotels and Suraj Gupta, CIO Gupta Group and Co- Founder, President of Rogue Insight Capital had the honour of meeting Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, at the Canada 2020 event last week in Toronto.

Obama delivered a speech about global citizenship, addressing thousands of people; including politicians, students and journalists, at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre.

“Canada was the first country I visited after I took office. I wasn’t happy about the weather, but the warmth of the people made up for it,” he said.
In his speech, Obama emphasized the importance of community, advocating for change and society’s need for democracy.

Canada 2020 is Canada’s leading independent progressive think tank, founded in 2006 by Thomas Pitfield, Tim Barber and Susan Smith.
